What to expect:
Overlock Workshop – Sewing with the "Professional" Machine
In this overlock workshop, you will learn to use your overlock machine safely and effectively. Step by step, I will show you how to create precise and professional seams with the machine.
You will get to know the two most common overlock stitches – the 4-thread and the 3-thread overlock stitch – and learn how to apply them. I will also introduce you to the rolled hem, which provides a clean, elegant finish, especially for delicate fabrics. You will also try out the flatlock stitch, often used for decorative and functional seams, in the workshop.
Another important point is "threading". I will take away your fear of it and show you helpful tips and tricks to make threading your overlock machine quick and easy.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to work confidently on your overlock machine and use it creatively for your projects!

Simply select the desired workshop, add it to your cart, and pay. Please make sure to choose the correct course; rebooking is possible but complicated.
Our classroom is equipped with high-quality sewing, overlock, and coverstitch machines, as well as the basic tools for tailoring, which we provide to you free of charge for the duration of the course. Please note, however, that we do not have enough basic tools for all course participants.
All consumables such as fabrics, patterns, sewing machine needles, ribbons, scissors, threads, appliques, and other accessories can be purchased in our shop if you do not already own them.
Upon registration, the course fee must be paid immediately in full, either in cash or by card at our store, or otherwise by ordering through the online shop. You cannot reserve a course spot with us. The course spot is only secured after payment is received.
Deregistration from the course must always be in writing, preferably by email. Free cancellation/rebooking is possible up to three weeks before the start of the course. After that, a refund of the course fees is unfortunately no longer possible. We ask for your understanding.
If you are unable to attend, you can rebook your course, provided there is an alternative date available.
If you cancel on the same day as the course, rebooking is not possible.
This applies to illness as well as all other concerns.
There is no right to a refund of fees, nor to an alternative appointment.
Should a course be canceled by us, we will refund the course fees. Should one of the four dates in a monthly course be canceled, we will try to find an alternative date or refund the course fee proportionally.
Please note that workshops will only take place if there is a sufficient number of participants.
Should this occur, we will inform all participants immediately.
In case of emergency, please leave your phone number at checkout so we can reach you at short notice.
Included in the course fee:
The prices are the pure course fees, as well as the use of the machines and materials provided by us. Consumables are not included and must be provided by the participant.
