Avalon Film prevents stitches from sinking and stabilizes machine embroidery on fine, transparent fabrics. Avalon Film also serves as a stabilizer for sewing fine silk fabrics, as the film prevents the fabric layers from shifting.
Ideal for:
  • Terry cloth, velvet, knitwear
  • Silk, organza, tulle
  • Buttonholes in thin fabrics
  • Transferring quilt patterns
  • Sandwich and pizza techniques
Application - Machine embroidery
  • Cut Avalon Film to the desired length from the roll and place it on the front of the towel.
  • Firmly hoop both together with the embroidery film facing up.
  • After embroidering, tear off the excess edges of Avalon Film along the embroidery.
  • Immerse the embroidery in lukewarm water so that the remaining embroidery film dissolves completely.
