Avalon Plus is a water-soluble embroidery fleece for stabilizing machine embroidery on delicate fabrics. It is also particularly well suited for creating freestanding lace embroidery.

Application - Machine Embroidery - Free-motion Embroidery
- Hoop one or two layers of Avalon Plus in the embroidery hoop.
- Draw a motif of your choice directly onto Avalon Plus with a self-erasing pen.
- First, stitch the contour twice freehand.
- Then embroider the motif with a grid or small, circular movements, ensuring that the stitches are always connected so that the motif does not fall apart after washing out the embroidery fleece.
- Now, embroider the motif as desired with straight or zigzag stitches.
- After finishing the work, remove Avalon Plus with the embroidery from the hoop.
- Cut off excess fleece and wash out the remaining fleece in water.
- Place the embroidery between two cloths and iron dry.
on light fabrics and on terry cloth
- Place the fabric between two layers of Avalon Plus and hoop all 3 layers tightly in the embroidery hoop.
- Embroider the chosen motif.
- After embroidering, cut off the fleece outside the embroidery and wash out the remnants in water.
Richelieu Embroidery
- Place the fabric on one layer of Avalon Plus and stitch over the marked holes with a few straight stitches.
- Carefully cut the fabric out of the holes with embroidery scissors without damaging the underlying embroidery fleece.
- Then finish embroidering the outline with zigzag stitches.
- Wash out Avalon Plus with water.
