Advanced needle threader
For effortless threading. Follow the thread guide and use the automatic threader lever with just one finger.

Color LCD touch screen
Control all functions by simply touching the high-resolution 3.7-inch LCD touch screen (432 x 240 pixels). With icons and language settings in 15 languages.

Adjustable thread tension
The adjustable thread tension ensures the best stitch results on a wide variety of fabrics.

Extra bright LED sewing light
Bright light, which is pleasant for the eyes, illuminates the work area.

Automatic bobbin winding
Quick and easy winding of the bobbin thread. Simply place the bobbin on the winder and the thread guide will show you the way.
 
Quick set bobbin
Insert a full bobbin and you are ready to start.

Thread sensor
The Innov-is is equipped with upper and lower thread sensors that indicate when a thread is running low or has broken.

Convenient controls
For comfortable operation, all function keys are centrally located and close together: thread cutter, needle up/down position, reverse button, start/stop function and the slider for the sewing speed.

Automatic thread cutter
Upper and lower threads are cut at the touch of a button.

Embroidery

200 embroidery designs including 65 Disney motifs
200 embroidery designs are already programmed in the machine, including 65 of your favorite Disney motifs. Optionally, the extensive Brother embroidery design collection on USB storage media is also available for the Innov-is M340ED.

100 x 100 mm embroidery area
Simply insert the embroidery unit and hoop, select a pattern and you can start embroidering. Additional embroidery hoops are optionally available.

Wireless connection via Wi-Fi
Wirelessly transfer new embroidery designs to your machine, receive notifications about available software updates, and connect your machine to Artspira, our new creative app.

USB port for importing designs
Connect a USB storage device directly to the machine and read in the embroidery files.

Combine embroidery designs
By pressing the "Add" button on the screen, several motifs can be combined and embroidered together.

Built-in frames
14 stitch types can be combined with 10 different frame shapes, such as circle and square.

Adjust designs on screen
Powerful editing functions such as arrangement, pattern rotation in 1°, 10° and 90° increments, image mirroring and scaling between 90 and 120%.
 
Compatible with threads from other manufacturers
In addition to the Brother thread chart, the Innov-is M340ED recognizes threads from three other manufacturers.
