1. Cut Framilastic shorter than the seam to be sewn - depending on how much gathering you want to incorporate.
2. At the beginning of your gathering, sew the tape flat for approx. 1 cm (with a zigzag stitch, and please remember to backstitch) so that it has a hold. Then stretch your tape to the desired length and sew it on under tension. Backstitch again at the end.
3. When working with Framilastic, the transparent tape should always be pierced in the middle. This ensures it lies evenly and has an equally even hold.
