Janome MyLock 554D Sailing Line

The Sailing Line series is expanded with the MyLock 554D Sailing Line model, which features low-vibration and quiet operation.
A color-coded threading mechanism and threading instructions directly on the front looper cover make threading easier. 2-, 3- and 4-thread overlock stitches allow for a wider range of variations, from narrow overlock seams to firm overlock edges. 2- and 3-thread rolled hems are available for flexible hem finishing with a clean result. An 8-segment feed dog ensures that fabrics glide effortlessly under the modified presser foot and that multiple layers of fabric remain stable during complex seams. A single slider allows for quick switching between overlock and rolled hem functions without having to change accessories. External controls allow for individual adjustment of stitch length and differential feed.

Depending on the fabric type and desired finish, the appropriate number of threads is used (2F/3F/4F overlock or 2F/3F rolled hem). Color-coded threading and the front threading aid enable quick setup. Stitch length and differential feed are adjusted according to fabric density.
