PATCHWORK INTERFACING FOR PRECISE WORK

GRIDQUICK SQUARE

Patchwork interfacing with a printed 1x1 cm grid at a 90° angle - a rational alternative to traditional stencil techniques. Geometric patterns and shapes can be created quickly and easily. Also excellent for transferring and enlarging patterns and schematic drawings.

PROCESSING

  1. Cut one fabric square and fabric strips of various sizes, as well as the Gridquick Square in the desired size. Place the fabric square right side up in the center of the unprinted back of the Gridquick. Place fabric strips right side down on the square and pin both fabrics across at the beginning and end of the fabric strip.
  2. Turn the work and sew along the fabric square using the printed line (mind the seam allowance).
  3. Turn the work again and trim the fabric strip along the square.
  4. Work the entire Gridquick Square piece in this manner.
