Prym's tailor's wax is available as a practical round plate in a two-part transparent plastic box with three slit-shaped openings on both sides. If you pull the thread through one of these grooves, it is coated with a fine layer of wax, gaining flexibility and stability. This allows the thread to glide smoothly through the fabric and prevents it from fraying or knotting during sewing. But not only thread, but also sticky zippers or jammed drawers can be made workable again with the universally applicable tailor's wax.
