With the twin stretch needle, you can give the hems of your T-shirts and other knitwear a professional look – even without using a coverlock machine: On your normal household sewing machine, you can sew two perfectly parallel, stretchable seams simultaneously on the right side of the fabric using two upper threads.
The medium ball point of the needles ensures that the stitches are gently pushed aside and not damaged. This prevents holes. Due to its special shank, the needle is closer to the hook. In combination with the special scarf area, this prevents skipped stitches, even with very elastic knit fabrics.
The twin stretch needle is particularly suitable for hemming and topstitching (highly) elastic knitwear such as jersey, velour, cotton knits, and swimwear fabrics.
